Im looking to purchase this dress used for my bridal shower. A lot of girls have said that even though they purchased the original dress it is much longer and not as fitting as it shows on the model. I’m dying for a dress like this for my shower. By looking at a picture, can anyone tell me if I can get this hemmed and/or taken around the hips?

A good seamstress can be able to alter that. You can also show them a picture to make sure.

Yes that should be able to be altered. You likely aren't going to want to hem it, you will likely want to move the hem up, shortening the skirt at the seam before the ruffle.
