Question about the ring

Samantha, on January 30, 2020 at 12:11 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 6
I just got engaged. Is it ok to have only one ring and wear that as ur wedding ring. And not have an engagement ring. Thanks for the advice

It is completely fine to not have an engagement ring. Many cultures don't even ascribe to engagement rings anyway.

Yep. My parents couldn't afford it when they got married. They've been married for about 35 years. Engagement rings are pretty but not necessary.

It's perfectly ok to do whatever you want. My FH joking complained about not getting an engagement ring, so I went out and got him a nice tungsten one with a small diamond as a surprise. He's worn it since and that will be his wedding band.

I'm also already wearing my band with my ring (with FH's blessing) because the set is just too pretty not to wear.

Basically, the only traditions that are important are the ones that important to YOU (as a couple).

Thank you so much. We have agreed to do
One ring for the wedding ring and do a not expensive engagement ring.
