question about reusing a wedding dress.

I am new here. My name is Selina. I am getting married next february. My good friend Jeanette (whom I've known since highschool) has been bugging me to sign up so I stop asking her questions to ask you. Especially since I'm in New York and she is in Colorado. Anyway the question I need ask is an important one. I was engaged the first time 3 years ago my ex called off the wedding 3 weeks before we were supposed to have it. I had bought my dress which has been sitting in a preservation bag in my closet for 3 years now. Anyway, I have started looking at dress and everything I like is very similar to the dress I bought for my previous wedding. My original dress is Maggie Sottero Lynnette in Ivory not silver, the dress is discontinued now. It cost $1600 and has never been worn. Do you think that I could/should just wear it. I have had mixed thoughts because I still LOVE this dress. what do you all think?

WEAR it for sure!. I would have a different opinion if it was an exhusband and he took it off you on your last wedding night, but as you cancelled that wedding and never took it down the aisle/had someone fish for a garter under it/sexily undo it at the end of the night. I'd say it's as good as gold! and very pretty too.

The dress is about what makes you feel good and how you see yourself on your wedding day. You picked it for a reason. Who cares who you were marrying... Now you get your dream man and dream wedding.

If you love it then wear it..you didn't get married in it and no one saw you in it so who cares if you still love then wear it

Just agreeing with everyone else. If you love it, wear it. Everything else you try on, you're just going to be thinking "I like my other dress better." It's not as if you actually wore it in a previous wedding, so no one is going to know, and your FH doesn't mind.
