Question about david's bridal special order shipping

Hello! I ordered a wedding dress recently but I was told it had to be specially ordered and would take longer to be delivered. I was first told closer to mid June, but then my email confirmation had an even later date of the end of June. My wedding will be in July, but the seamstress told me I could do a rush order to have the dress in time. But I'm still worried about the time and would rather it be here way before then. Has anyone had experience with a special order from david's bridal? I think it's only special order because it's newer, I'm not requesting a crazy color or length. Am I being too hopeful in thinking it might arrive before then? I was told that was just the latest date, but I'm wondering if I should pick a different dress instead
