Quarantine Date Nights

Alyssa, on March 31, 2020 at 11:04 PM Posted in Community Conversations 0 12
Hi ladies! I thought it would be fun to see what everyone is doing for “date night” during quarantine and social distancing. Since going out for dinner and a movie or drinks isn’t doable right now, what’s everyone doing instead?

My husband and I decided to do a picnic in our living room aha. Another one is literally just going on a walk together.

We ordered BBQ takeout on our wedding night. We also played virtual scategories in group video chat with friends.

We spent the evening before our wedding cleaning our house. And we cook every night.
Weve also watched a ton of Disney +.
We're just trying to get thru this the best we can. Now that I'm unemployed til at least May.

Since we are home, I decided to bring the restaurant to us. Made dinner, brought candles and we just talked and enjoyed some wine. We also have joined a couple of online courses during the week and try to have at least 2 nights device free time where we just play games, or read a book or simply take

So cute! And definitely a good option for us since our weather definitely isn’t nice enough for real picnics yet.

The classes are a good idea! I don’t think I ever would have thought. We’ve been doing a lot of nice home cooked meals and wine too. We cooked pretty much every night before but I feel like being inside all day has definitely made us more creative and trying some new recipes.

Have you tried any of the Jackbox games? They’re SO fun with a group of friends and it’s online so still social distancing friendly Smiley smile

We’ve also watched a ton of Disney+ and Netflix recently. We’re trying to have more game nights with just the two of us to change things up from sitting on the couch every night.
Sorry to hear about unemployment. My heart goes out to everyone affected (in many different ways) throughout this 💕

I don’t know how warm it is where y’all are living, but we have an outdoor fire pit and have been sitting outside with the fire when it’s nice enough to do so. He doesn’t drink but I’ve brought out some wine for myself and we just relax, play with the dog. Next time I’m at the store I might grab stuff to make s’mores.

We have been playing board games, watching a lot of Disney +, or while he is playing video games I am next to him catching up on my shows.

We have been doing walks and runs, dinner and a movie and when it’s nice enough we sit on our patio with wine music and play games!

We just played a card game called “talk, flirt, dare” for a weekend date night. Pulled out a bottle of wine and lit a candle and enjoyed each other’s company.
