Punta Cana Honeymoon!

I've heard Ocean Blue is good.

The best ones in Punta Cana, for me, are Hard Rock Hotel and Majestic Mirage.

I haven’t stayed at any of these, I know you said you narrowed it down but we stayed at the level by Melia tropical and it was absolutely amazing.

We are booking Excellence in a couple weeks for our November 2019 honeymoon. Haven't stayed there yet but everything I have seen it seems amazing!

I know you narrowed it down to those four, but wanted to share where we booked, TRS Turquesa Adults Only by Palladium Resort Group! We love the fact that we can get a swim out room within our budget, we have a butler, free honeymoon package and upgrades and we can go to any of the other 3 resorts by the Palladium Group! So many bars, swimming pools and activities all in one place!

I'm sure wherever you stay will be amazing! You may want to check out Southwest Vacations to book your honeymoon! After much research, we save about $500 booking through them than booking resort and flight separately or booking through other package websites (like CheapCaribbean or AppleVacations)! Excellence has 2 properties in Punta Cana - Excellence Punta Cana, and Excellence El Carmen.

We went to Excellence El Carmen for our honeymoon in October and loved it. If you're looking for a resort that is modern, has good service, a nice beach, and is relaxing/quiet, this is a great fit. It wouldn't be great for those who want a party vibe or a lot of daily activities or nightlife. We got a room that had a private pool, which was awesome because we wanted something more low key. The main pool by the ocean with the swim up bar was nice though. We had excellent service, never had trouble finding a beach chair or getting service on the beach, and it was gorgeous. There are private Facebook groups for many of these resorts, so you can join them and see what people are really saying and get some good tips about room types and what to expect.

It’s not one you listed, but I had a fantastic time at the Hard Rock in Punta Cana. One tip in general: leave a small $1 - ish tip for housekeeping each day rather than a larger one at the end of your stay. They’ll keep up the nice little things if you tip regularly. Enjoy!

I can tell you that Punta Cana is a wonderful destination of the Dominican Republic, you will be captivated by its beauty, on the excellent hotel, from my point of view, they have an excellent service and it is very complete. We had a great time when we went.

HI sarah!! We are in the same boat! I am getting married on 9/7/19 and we are looking at staying at the excellence property (we stayed at the excellence in cancun). I've don't a lot of researching and we are going with the excellene solely based on our trip to cancun!

My friend just got married at Ocean Blue and Sand 2 weeks ago. I arrived when she did and stayed about a week. The food is subpar and we had terrible issues with the rooms (dirty, missing important items like towels and wash clothes, messed up bed selections like twin beds for the bride and groom, etc.), we got haunted by the timeshare constantly (they are posted outside of every building). I do not recommend at all. Their wedding coordinator was absolute garbage. The main bonus of OB was that their portion of the beach they cleaned all of the seaweed away. When I went over to Princess's side, they hadn't. The resort overall is very pretty and we had a great time, but I'd never honeymoon there or have a wedding there.

We're headed to Excellence Punta Cana in January 2020 for our honeymoon. I've read a lot of great reviews about it (especially since it's renovation) and in comparison to other adults only all inclusive resorts, to get a private pool and ocean view the price was much better.
