One of my best GF's is Puerto Rican and I have to say her wedding was the most fun one I've ever, ever been too. It was all about the food and music which was traditional PR

Make it your own if the elders in your families have no specifics for you to follow. Honor the traditions you know, love and already follow.

My FH is Cuban and I'm Panamanian and our families have so many little traditions they expect us to follow till my head is spinning.

I will say this the one tradition that I am really trying to talk my FILs out of is the money dance. Ever Cuban wedding I've attended has had one. If many of your guest are Cuban then you best believe many of them will be expecting one.

*Background - One Cuban tradition that is very important for the Cuban wedding is the money dance. During this event, while the music plays, the bride and groom dance together. Guests then pin money to the bride’s dress. This money is considered a gift for the couple as they start their married life.
