Has anyone ever used Publix for their flowers? I buy their $4 bunches all the time and they last for weeks, literally, and are gorgeous so I was thinking about talking to someone about doing a special order. I was just wondering if anyone has done this. Publix has always been good with special orders in other parts of the store so I'm hoping for luck here.

I'm not using Publix but I am using another grocery store florist... I'm using Zehrs and I have my consultation with them this Friday. Sorry I'm not much help either but when I was asking around yesterday I had learned that one of my friends used a Price Chopper because as you said she buys their 5$ bunches and they last forever.. and she had amazing arrangements for 1/4 of the price of what another florist quoted her for the SAME thing!! I think you will be fine!!

Thanks for the input. We are doing everything fairly simply and I can't fathom spending several hundred dollars on flowers.

I work at a similar chain and the florists get one delivery a week, and it arrives on monday, so if I were you I would find out what that day is they receive their delivery to make sure youre getting new stock

My sister used Publix for her flowers and they were great and I'm pretty sure it was a decent price.

I had a consultation with the florist at publix greenwise. They were great (but not significantly cheaper than other local florists). The thing that kept me from using them was they didn't have an album or any photos of their work! I was really surprised and needed to see actual photos of their work to feel 100% comfortable but that's just my preference.
