Providing Masks for Bridal Party?!

Rachael, on September 7, 2020 at 2:01 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 13
Hi! So our ceremony is requiring masks for the guests only when everyone is in their seats and our reception is requiring them to walk into the building.

Should I provide them to our friends and family that are in the wedding? I found black ones on Amazon that are cloth & good price/quality but should everyone’s be black and mine be white? Mix of both?
I’m super OCD and want everyone’s to be uniform but don’t know exactly how to go about this. I don’t mind for the extra guests, just mainly giving masks to the wedding party, my parents, and his parents.

I think black for them and white for you would be nice

I think that would be fine. I’m not sure the colors of your wedding, but the masks could also coordinate with that!

I don't see any issue with it.

I did black for everyone and white for me - saves the hassle of trying to color match specific purple and grey. I do not have time for that jazz.

Our Wedding is Nightmare Before Christmas themed, so I bought Jack and Sally masks for FH and the wedding party and plain black masks for the other guests. If we didn’t have the theme, I probably would have stuck with white for me and another solid color fir everyone else.

Where did you get your bridesmaid dresses? I have seen many designers making matching masks for the dress colors..

We're providing masks for everyone -- wedding party and guests. Still trying to decide on what exactly to do, though. I'm looking into nice lace ones for the bridesmaids, haven't figured out the groomsmen situation, and I can't decide on colors for the guests. It's a mess, lol.

My main concern is actually comfort over color. Trying to find ones that are big but not too big and have adjustable ear straps is proving to be a pain.

I think you can get custom masks made in a color of your choosing. Designers are making all sorts of masks. You could get them in a color that matches your bridesmaids' dresses?

My girls got their dresses from Azazie so I ordered masks for them from there to match their dresses. I also order the guys masks from there as well in black to match their tuxedos. I plan on wearing a white mask.

So similar to what the previous comment said, I also bought masks just for my bridal party from Azazie. They have adjustable straps, silk material, and they are like $5 a mask. My idea is, the bridal party can use these matching masks for pictures, and then can switch to their own masks afterwards if they don't end up liking them or something. I'm also providing disposable white and black masks for the rests of my guests, just in case if they need one or forget to bring their own.

You can always order them in bulk from Amazon. We got a pack of 50 individually wrapped black masks for our event. It wasn't super expensive and it was uniform. If you want specific ones for the bridal party, then go with etsy. They are great.

I also ordered masks for my bridal party from Azazie to match their outfits and asked my seamstress to make me a mask out of my wedding dress material!
