Is anybody else providing all booze for your wedding? I am going to have 100-120 guests, and at least 100 of them will be drinking... drinking hard lol.. my FH family likes to drink... A LOT,they dont get mean or violent.. they just LOVE to drink and have a good time.. and my Moms side of the family likes to drink too, and my real dads side of the family are all recovering alchohalics... so they'll be in that # of people not drinking haha! And allll our friends enjoy drinking as well.

(NOTE: We are having a (weekend wedding)on a small Island so their will be no running to the store to get more booze , and we are also wanting to provide drinks when my guests arrive/ rehearsal dinner and wedding night. )

We are thinking Kegs/ Wine/ and a few hard boozes.... What do you ladies think i should do? A few kegs? Bottles of wine on each table plus bar? Hard booze? or have a signature drink and just beer/wine to go with it? I am confused and not 100% sure on how to do something like this

If we find a venue that allows BYOB I know for sure we would be able to finish it. We had a friends bday party and the boys are heavy social fun drinkers and there was probably like 50 people there- half who were drinking wine or a mixed drink. We left the keg for about 15 guys and they finished it in one night (and they were taking shots and drinking different types of sour beer in bottles)!!! Then they were so drunk they threw it in the pool. I couldn't believe they finished it! So, as far as alcohol goes I will add this page on my watch list because if we get lucky to find a byob venue I would need to refer back to this to see how much we should buy. Every wedding we went to (all in the same group of friends) they cleaned out their open bar each time! So, I need to make sure we don't run out! We're always seated on the tables that are closes to the bar. And, also further from cake, phootbooths, basically anything that can be broken due to a drunk person trying to get to the bar. Smart thinking! Just give them a table close to the bar and away from anything they can destroy is the lesson I have learned. It never happened, but you never know! Wow, my wedding is going to be a drunk fest just by remembering all this. Well im glad I know now, instead of running our of drinks or someone crashing into the DJ booth on the way to the bar! LOl.

We had 70 guests and opted for wine, bubbly, 2 kegs of craft beer and one of a hard cider. We only really went through 1 keg (5gal) of beer and the cider (5 gal) was a big hit. Including the champagne toast we went through 3 cases of bubbly and 7 cases of wine...that includes the party crowd drinking back at the bridal party's vacation rental after the wedding. Most of our friends and family are beer and wine drinkers so they have no problems putting it down.

We had it all night. 6-11.

I live in SC. The grocery stores had it for $7-8, but Walmart and Total Wines had it for $3.47-$3.99.
