Protecting dress at outdoor ceremony

I am having an outdoor ceremony on a golf course. The reception will be inside and there will be a cocktail hour on the veranda. Can I just get a extra wide runner and spray the bottom of my dress with protectant so it doesn't get trashed so much. I have a bit of a train and a chapel veil.

Hey Latonya! Your ceremony venue sounds great! A wide runner for the aisle would certainly work well at protecting your dress. Are you worried about getting grass marks on your dress?

I think it will get dirtied somehow anyway regardless just because you'll be walking around everywhere and it'll drag along. you could always have a bridesmaids pick up your train and dress when walking around
