Promo Codes & discounts on rides?

Our wedding reception is in downtown Buffalo in May and I want everyone to get to and from as safe as possible.

Has anyone tried do get a discount or promo code for their wedding day using lyft or uber? What was your experience like? How did you do it?

The WNY wedding advice page wild be a better place to ask. Assuming you do mean buffalo NY and not bother buffalo. But either a bus or limo/cab company would be my only advice

I do believe Uber/Lyft offer group promo codes, but you'd have to contact them.
However, if you have a hotel block, see if they have courtesy buses.

I've done Lyft codes for other events and it's worked well! I want to say you can create one code with a specific number of uses for a specific price per use (example: ABCDWed; 25 uses; $10 per use). If the ride is under the price you set, you'll only be charged for that amount, and if it's over, I think the user is charged the additional amount. FH and I were planning to go this route for our hotel guests (hotel didn't provide a shuttle but venue was only a mile away) before we changed venues and found a hotel that provided free shuttle service. If you haven't set a hotel room block yet, definitely shop around and see if any will do free shuttle service!

It all depends on how many people you need to transport. If it's a small number, of course, take a limousine. At the very least, it's convenient and comfortable. If you have many people, I advise you to take a bus, so you don't have to transport everyone several times. Of course, it will not be as comfortable as in a limousine. However, all will have the opportunity to have fun together. As for coupons, there may be promo codes from DontPayFull for transportation. I won't say for sure because I'm not sure about that myself. But I advise you to look for them if you want to save good money on them.
