It's a wedding dress if you wear it to your wedding... So yes. If you love it, rock it

I don't see an issue really. This dress in particular though is very prom.

Doesn't really matter as long as you are okay with it.

I wore a pageant dress. Looked great IMHO (but I am- ahem- admittedly bias LOL)

You can wear whatever you want. It doesn't matter where it was bought or what it's labeled as. If you wear it for your wedding, it's a wedding dress.

I just bought mine this weekend. It's from a bridesmaids line, but I love it and it's exactly what I wanted.

I think to each their own! If you love it and want to wear it as your wedding dress than I'd say it's a wedding dress!

Not traditional, but it is YOUR day, wear what makes you happy/feel beautiful/comfortable

I don't see an issue. You should be able to wear whatever dress, color, accessories, shoes, etc that you want.

It's fine, my friend's dress was a prom dress and she looked fabulous.

I know many people who wore "prom dresses" to their wedding and they looked great. Once you add the label wedding dress to anything they hike the price up anyway. So I say, go for it! And don't consider it a prom dress, it is YOUR wedding dress

I think it's fine. Like everyone else said, it's a wedding dress if you wear it to your wedding. There's a couple white/lighter colored quinceanera dresses I've seen that I thought would be perfect wedding dresses. Plus, since it's not marketed as a "wedding" dress, you'll most likely end up saving a ton of money. If it's your perfect idea of a dress, do it!

I wore a wedding dress to my prom! It was vintage, ballet length, from the 20s, and if it still fit it would sure as hell be my wedding dress. Whatever makes you feel beautiful - I think the gown is one thing that is 100% all about what the bride wants.

    Plus that dress is lovely!

I think anything you want to wear on your wedding makes it a wedding dress (or in my case a wedding ensemble). Do what you like!

The wedding dress is one of the few places that "you do you" is acceptable.

I wore a vintage 1970s cotton dress as my wedding dress and loved it!
