Started the process of getting a marriage license in NYC only to find out that there are no appointments available with a city clerk. Just curious if other NYC brides had this issue? And if they did how long it took them to get an appointment?

One of my friends advised me go online on Thursdays at 9am. That’s usually when they post new slots.

I didn’t want to wait that long so I just called the towns in Long Island closest to us and got an appointment there within a week and we got our license the same day.
