Progressional & Recessional.. Why is this so difficult?

Brittany, on October 7, 2016 at 2:40 PM Posted in Planning 0 5

Why does it seem to be this difficult finding the perfect music? I've been searching high and low and seem to come up short. What have you ladies came up with? Any ideas on where to find the best to choose from?

•Sincerely- May Bride trying not to pull her hair out... Happy Planning!

The songs were so hard for me. I still do not have a recessional picked out or a song for the parent dance. I am walking down the aisle to Cannon D but my bridal party will be walking down to butterfly waltz. I really like the song Ever Ever After by Carrie Underwood for the recessional, but my FH is not completely sold on it.

Avoid the word 'perfect' and your life will be easier.

We are doing one processional for groom, BM (who are walking up together), and MOH. Our ceremony will be on a landing between two floors and FH and BM will be walking up about 8 flights of stairs and MOH will be walking down another flight of about 8 stairs. They are walking to an instrumental rendition of One Hand One Heart from West Side Story (FH picked it). I will be walking down to a classical guitar version of The Arrival of the Queen of Sheba by Handel. Our recessional is You're All I Need to Get By by Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell.
