Program/timeline

Alli, on June 14, 2019 at 12:06 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 10

I wasn't originally going to do any sort of program because it seemed like a waste of money. But I think I have changed my mind because we are having such a short ceremony and reception, I think it will give our guests a heads up that this will not be an all night affair. It will be in the summer, so I think the fans would be helpful as well. What do you think? Are you using programs or doing a timeline?

That's cute! I think I'll be doing a program/timeline board that can be transported between the two venues. It should save money (and trees) to have one board rather than individual programs. I wanted to not do it at all, but I do think highlighting who my bridal party is, and the timeline is nice

We are! We are doing fan ones like you guys are, I just think they are great in summer especially for outdoor ceremonies! Ours only discuss the ceremony though, not the reception. But we put that information on our website & welcome bag pamphlets.

I think it's a cute idea! I originally wanted to do fan programs, but the church can make the programs for us cheaper than we could make fan ones on our own so we're just doing that.

That's cute! Ours is going to be small and quick so I doubt we'll need them.

Great idea - useful & informational, all in one!

We aren't doing programs, but we're having an intimate (immediate family only) ceremony followed by a larger reception since our families are huge, so I think it would be less relevant.

I'm with you - can't turn down a deal! And if people want to fan themselves, they don't *need* a handle to do it!

I was hoping the same thing! Honestly, we are doing no kids except wedding party but there were a few kids I wanted there... so we made "ushers" and need something for them to hand out since we aren't having people on a certain side during the ceremony.

Those are really cute, and I'm sure your guests will appreciate the timeline! I know I always really like having a program at a wedding
