Programs

Are you guys printing a program out for the ceremony and reception or going without one. I thought about getting programs but I feel like they aren’t even worth the extra money

I'm not doing any. They'll just get tossed in the trash anyway.

We are skipping them, didn't want to spend the money on something that was going to be looked at for a few minutes. We may make a sign, but not 100% on that yet.

I chose to save the money and will have one large program (I’m thinking something diy like on a chalkboard or painted on a rustic window) near the entrance. Also, the timeline will be on my wedding website for any guest honestly interested.

I’m making them. Our ceremony is interfaith with my FH’s family being Jewish and my family being Christian. The ceremony will be Jew-ish (my FH’s way of describing it lol) but will have quite a few of the Jewish wedding traditions, including Hebrew prayers, so I want my family to know what’s going on. I don’t need them to be interviewing his family after the ceremony to learn about what just went on lol

Nope, nope and nope. Actually I’m having the welcome and order of service printed on a 18x24
Everything along with the frame only cost me less than $35
i hate wasting money and just like someone said above, they’ll probably throw it away

No programs for us. We might have a large mirror or something like that for everyone to see, same with the menu at the reception, but we haven't set our minds on anything yet.

We’re having programs only because the officiant is leading a group blessing, so everyone needs to be able to read along.

Nope! We're not planning to have a very long ceremony, and I doubt anyone reads them. I actually can't remember the last wedding I went to that had a program or board or anything. People usually follow along just fine.

We are for the ceremony! It's totally not necessary though.

I'm not doing them just to save money and put it towards something i really want to like having an open bar. but instead i'll have it posted somewhere near the entrance just so people know the schedule for the evening.
