Programs or Sign?

Celena, on May 25, 2022 at 5:50 PM Posted in Wedding Ceremony 0 6

I am wondering if a program is needed for out ceremony into reception. My fiancée and I are getting married in October and initially I didn't think we needed one. Now we are wondering if we should do one since we hired an actual performer at a set time. My thought is that we could have a sign stating there would be a performance at a specific time instead.

Neither is necessary and guests don’t pay attention to them. What part of the wedding will the performer be present?

I love the idea and should have done that. But I did put the order of events on the invitation. I think it’s good to give guests an idea of what’s going to occur when.

I made an order of events sign that’s going to go on an easel in front of our barn reception 🤗

If you're in a fairly contained space, I wouldn't bother! If there's many big rooms and you genuinely think people could miss the performance, then maybe have your DJ make an announcement. 😊
