Program placement

Where to put the programs?

So at first we weren't doing programs for our wedding, especially with how much they cost. But after I designed our own program and printed them for cheap I was actually really excited to add them to our wedding. (We don't have much décor so the little details excite me lol)

Our ceremony is outside and I really wanted to have the programs on every seat, but i'm worried if it's windy they won't stay in place. Any suggestions? (I thought about making them into fans but it's front and back so it's not really an option)

You can still make it into a fan front and back, I believe!
But anyway I’ve seen some people put one on each seat or like me I just put mine in the front where I also had a guestbook

Normally I would say that the ideal solution would be to have ushers hand them out, but it looks like your wedding is this month and that wouldn’t exactly work due to covid...maybe you can get something to weigh them down with so they don’t blow away, like decorative stones/rocks?

Those are so great! You could put a small hole in the top and tie it to the seat with a bow? Of if you have someone that can pass them out, I'd go that route.

Those are so cute! Smiley heart

I think putting them out on each seat would be really nice! If you're worried about wind you could grab some decorative rocks / pebbles for pretty cheap online and put one on top of each program to weigh it down a tiny bit!

These are really cute!! You could put them in a basket with a cute weight with them or put them in the chairs? Maybe you could put them by the guestbook? I have seen where you add a confetti packet to them at the bottom and that might help with the weight too!

I would find a way to secure them to the chairs, either by punching a hole and tying them with some ribbon, or using decorative rocks as weights. Having somebody pass them out or having everyone take them from the same basket is NOT Covid-friendly.

Our usher was supposed to pass them out, but our venue messed up and put one on each chair. It was inside so we didn't have to worry about the wind. At my brother-in-law's wedding, they had table with a basket of programs set up. Their wedding was outside and the programs were just fine in the basket.

We're actually going to do a "program" on the projector as a presentation slide while guests are waiting for the ceremony to start! It wasn't hard to design something on the canva website, and it looks nice and is paperless.
