That didn't happen to me. Do you mean people in your wedding party? Family members? Other wedding guests?

I mean, they'll either come dressed, or the wont. I wouldnt' spend too much time stressing about other people having outfits!

If they have to order a specific dress (meaning they are a bridesmaid) I would set a hard deadline (based on how long the dress takes to come in, plus about 3 weeks buffer and for alterations) Otherwise, I wouldn't worry about it. i had bridesmaids pick thier own style from a list of options I provided, all from the same company. I set a deadline of when to order by and sent a reminder to everyone a week before the deadline to order.

I bought my girls’ dresses and I’m pretty sure everyone thought I was crazy for how early I bought them so… yes. I did worry about that but buying them myself got around it, haha

Are you talking about the attendants, the parents or guests in general? Unless they need to buy something specific ( bridesmaid dress or a suit rental) most people wear whatever in their closet at their discretion. Even then, it would be impolite to turn them away at the door because they don’t fit a certain look. I wouldn’t stress over it.

Ah, OK. I will definitely just decide not to worry about the mom. She has been dressing herself for a long time and will just have to figure this out. You have six months to go and unless you want to be stressed out about this issue that whole time, just let it go. Pick your battles.

As for bridal party, I would just be really clear with your guidelines and the deadline. After one more check-in to make sure that no one is struggling financially or something else serious, don't micro-manage. It will only give you a headache and make them grouchy. If they fail to get their outfits by your wedding day, they simply won't be in your wedding party. Disappointing, sure, but not something you can actually control.
