Processional

Our DJ told us about a wedding where the family stood while the bride walked down the isle and the guests didn't stand until after she passed their row. Has anyone done this? And if you did or have seen it how did you word that part for the officiant?

I haven’t seen this, but visually that would look very nice looking back on your weeding videos. I think it would pretty simple to explain to him and to the guests while the wait for the bride/ bridal party to arrive.

Never seen that. Guests are used to all standing up on the cue of the parents. Sounds like something to practice at the rehearsal

It sounds like that might have been a tradition. I wouldn’t know to do that unless someone told me and I’ve never seen it in person.
