I guess I never paid much attention to any of the weddings I've been to before, but is it okay to let the beginning of your processional play for about 30 seconds before you start walking down the aisle? I'm currently leaning towards "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing" (either the instrumental VSQ version or the original Aerosmith), but I'd like to let the 30 second intro play before I start walking down the aisle. I feel like the strings at the beginning make a great fanfare, but we have a fairly short aisle and I'd like to get to the actual melody before I start walking. Do you think people might wonder what's taking so long?
