Does anyone have any idea on how long the music should be for the bridal party to walk down and also myself to walk down?? My best friend is writing music for my processional and I feel like the rehearsal will be too late so I have no idea what to tell him when it comes to music length. Walking down the aisle will be my mom and siblings, my fiancé and his mom, and each of our 4 members on either side of our bridal party will walk down together.

I feel like this depends on how long your walk is in terms of length of the aisle and how slow they're walking. I sort of timed myself for my own walk and it felt like it was at least 30-40 seconds of music

I just checked the time on the raw video of daughter's ceremony. They had a 50' aisle. It took 3 minutes and 10 seconds for the 2 moms, five pairs of BM/GM, 2 sets of FG/RB, and the B/FOB. (So 10 "couples" total.) Watching the video again, they were definitely walking pretty fast....

Less than 30 seconds. Your dj can fade it out or your musicians will come to a stopping place if it’s longer than your walk.

Hey Danielle!
Do you know how long your ceremony aisle will be? You could easily have a 'trial' rehearsal where you measure out the length your aisle and time your wedding party walking down. This will give you a fairly accurate basis for how long it will take on the actual day!
