Processional - flower girls then bridesmaids or bridesmaids then flower girls?

To me it makes more sense to have the flower girls walk first and then the bridesmaids rather than vice versa but I understand traditionally the flower girl comes before the bride.

Our flower girls won't be scattering petals (not allowed) and they will be walking down with the page boy who will hold the hand of each flower girl, one on each side.

This makes me wonder, how many of you are doing flower girls first and how many of you are doing bridesmaids first?

I did flower girls right before I went down. They did throw flowers though. Typically the flower girls go after the bridesmaids because they throw flowers that are fresh for the bride.

My flower girl is not throwing flowers but I think I’m still going to have her and the ring bearer walk after the bridal party. This way their cousins will already be up there so they know where to stand when they get up there. I feel like if they go up first they won’t know what to do and will just go to their parents.

We only had ring bearers but they walked after the bridesmaids but before my MOH.

I am having the flower girls go right before me as the bridesmaids will already be up there to collect them as they are quite young.
