Processional and Recessional songs

Tiffany, on February 1, 2018 at 11:19 PM Posted in Wedding Ceremony 0 17
I'm having a hard time choosing a processional song for my wedding party to walk do the aisle to. I will be walking down to A Thousand Years instrumental by The Piano Guys. Any suggestions? Are any of you using just one song?

I used A Thousand Years Piano Guys version for my 3 BMs, 3 flower girls, ring bearer, and then me. I hired a cellist and violinist to play with the pianist provided by the church and it was so beautiful. For my recessional, we had the musicians play Ode to Joy.

I’m having the parents/groom walk in to an instrumental version of “In my life” by the Beatles. Our bridal party will walk down to instrumental of “A Thousand Years”. I’m going to walk to Canon in D. And our recessional is the instrumental version of “I do” by Colbie Calliet.

I’m using “I Was Made For Loving You” by Tori Kelly and Ed Sheeran for the family/bridal party because I wanted something very soft and beautiful. And of course like about 75% of brides, I am walking down to “A Thousand Years”.

I think we are only going to use one song. It’s going to be Holy by Florida Georgia Line

There are a lot of beautiful instrumentals by Sleeping at Last. My PB is walking down to the instrumental of "I'll keep you safe" and I'm walking down to the instrumental of "Her joy was complete".

I have a small party. Just my sister. And the church is small so we are walking to the same song. I’m thinking Pachelbel Canon in D.

I am walking down to Say you wont let go by James Arthur (we will have an acoustic guitar player for ceremony/cocktail/welcome) and we are doing recessional to Best Day of My Life - American Authors. I love love love A Thousand Years it's beautiful, but acoustically it didn't sound as beautiful as when it's played by the piano guys.

We did the instrumental version of “Heaven” for BM’s Walking Down aisle. I think instrumental version was by bridesmaid quartet.
