Probably Crazy, Changing Bridesmaids Dress Color Scheme

Kelly, on February 17, 2021 at 9:01 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 8
So I picked my bridesmaids dress color, papaya, from Azazie. And I still love it. I just now think I want to split it two in papaya, two in a shade of teal. No one has ordered an actual dress yet. Just the sample size dress to try on, which no one could actually order in papaya, and with shipping delays no one has received yet.

So is it horrible of me to ask this of them? I do t want to upset anyone. Make anyone mad. Wedding isn't until late August. I just really like color.

If nobody has spent any money on their dresses yet, then I think you're fine to switch the colors!

Go for it! No one has ordered their dress yet, just a sample try-on so it would be as simple as changing the colors! I say do it!
I totally changed my dresses all together and my party was actually excited and liked the look even more!

I don't see what the problem would be since they haven't spent any money on ordering their dresses yet.

Nobody’s ordered it so you’re fine. Go for it!

And I didn't think it should be that big a problem either. But one of my bridesmaids just told me that I'm trying to make them look like salt water taffies, and the pictures will look like a mish mashed mess.

If no one has spent any money or ordered their dresses, switching shouldn't be an issue. Better to make the decision now than have a change of heart after your maids have already made deposits.
