Hi all,
Has anyone bought templates for invites, menus, and/or programs off of Etsy and then printed them yourself (at a local print shop or on a website such as print runner)? If so was the cost comparable to straight out buying invites off of sites such as Vistaprint, etc.? Was the quality good?

I adore the designs on Etsy much more than the ones I’ve seen on sites, plus you can ask the owner to customize them or customize them yourself much more easily than on the other sites I’ve tried. Plus, I love to support small businesses. Let me know your overall experiences and photos if you have them!

We printed our menus with an Etsy template. The template was $5 I believe and the cardstock was BOGO at Michael’s, so we spent about $20 total for 130 of them.

We got our save-the-date, table numbers, place cards, and pretty much anything being printed off Etsy via template form. We printed on our colored printer at home and they turned out great! OfficeMax would also be a great option to print at. We'll be printing our invitations off ag OfficeMax just to ensure they look extra professional.

It cost me about $45 to print 200 save the date postcards from Vistaprint using a template.

I printed all of my table numbers, signs, etc using a $5.00 template from Etsy

Hi, I'm looking to print small things like place cards l, table numbers, etc at home like you guys but I need a color printer. I am wondering if youd recommend yours, and if so the make/model?

We currently have a black and white brother but I'd like to print colored items, ya know..
