Printing addresses and inserts for all in 1 invitations

April, on November 1, 2019 at 7:16 AM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 6
I need to print our return address on a label and add it as an insert for our invitations. I don't have a printer, where do I go to do that?

Also I have all in 1 style invitations from minted. What's the best way to add inserts?

The why: we finally know for sure that we're moving, a little more than a month before the wedding, days before Christmas. Our invitations will go out very soon (within the week) the deadline for rsvp is a couple days after new year's. Though there will be USPS forwarding in place. I'd prefer to give a heads up to my guests and family of the new address if they are attempting to mail the rsvp, cards, or gifts past a certain date in December. Oh and the invitations are already printed and ready to be folded, stamped, and mailed.

Return address: You can buy custom address stamps on amazon or etsy! That was the easiest way to do it for us as they were really cheap

    https://www.amazon.com/Personalized-Address-Stamp-Recycled-Self-Inking/dp/B079VVZHCF/ref=sr_1_11?keywords=custom+return+address+stamp&qid=1572609871&sr=8-11

Inserts: You can buy the inserts on minted- I just looked at the size of our invitation (it shows it to you on minted's website or you could just measure it) and figured out what would fit inside the invitation suite. I bet you could also get something printed at Fedex!

Maybe you could ask your parents or someone in your bridal party to collect the rsvps so that there’s no confusion. But if you want to print address labels, you can get them anywhere you can buy stationary.

Sometimes you can print at your local public library. You could set up a whole sheet of the return address inserts (use an Avery label template), and print them there.

Or, you might also be able to print at an office supply like Staples, Office Depot, or FedEx Kinko's.

    Hey April!

Have you checked out Minted’s free envelope addressing service? Is this something that is helpful to you?

You could also get your address labels printed anywhere that you would usually get something printed like a Staples or somewhere similar.

The issue is that the current address is already printed on the RSVP part of the invitations. But before the final rsvp date, we're moving. Though USPS will forward mail, I just want to give the guests the new address just in case.

I went to office depot and got the new address printed on label stickers, on the back in bold I said "our new address after 12/16/2019". I added that as an insert in the invitations. Hopefully people get the message and don't ignore it. There were several people who didn't realize our website was written on the back of the save the date.
