Printer Help!!

Lisa, on April 10, 2020 at 1:19 PM Posted in Planning 0 11
Hey ladies! I want to print out my own programs, menus, and itineraries for our wedding. I have no clue which printer to get. Can anyone give me some recommendations on a printer and paper they used that worked for them? TIA

This isn’t a recommendation for a printer but have you tried looking into services that will print your DIY items? It may be cheaper in the long run. For example I designed my own wedding invites using Adobe illustrator and had them printed through the website basic invite. The quality came out amazing and I had complete control over design. I settled on Basic invite for the invitations but there are a few other website and stores like staples and Office Depot or a local print shop that could print them out for you

Thanks Adwoa! I’ll look into that as well. I also saw I could purchase some programs off of Etsy for like $5 and just have them printed after filling in the blanks.

Much cheaper to just have them printed at Staples or Office Depot than buying a whole new printer! We did ours at Staples and they came out great

I agree with above Brides! It's much cheaper to have them printed. We are going to be using the same person who is doing all of our stationary for the remainder of the paper items we have. If we needed anything printed outside of her services we have gone to Staples.

I also agree with PP. Unless you plan on using that printer a lot later, you might save money (and support a local business) if you find a print shop that can do it all for you. I bought my invite from an Etsy vendor and was able to edit the info. Then had it printed at my local shop and it cost very little.

We designed our own and had them printed at staples. Comes out much nicer than having to buy special paper and a printer.Printer Help!! 1

That’s exactly where I found the info I want printed on Etsy so I’ll just use that. Thank you!

Thanks! If you (or someone you know) know illustrator, it was fairly simply to make. Plus, I wanted my programs to match the invitations (my friend and I custom designed) to make it all cohesive.
