Princess Dress Vs Queen Dress

Amanda, on October 30, 2019 at 8:31 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 22
I cannot decide which look I like better... Please help!! I love the dramatic back of the "queen" dress, but also love the sweet and romantic look of the "princess" dress! Which do you like best? My family won't give any real imput... Getting married in a barn-syled venue.

I really like the detail in the back of the first dress!

Me too!!! I can't get over the back of it! But I am not sure about the neckline/straps? I'm very broad shouldered, and I feel like that accentuates that...

The long train gown doesn't really match your venue. I like the shorter one on the bottom!

Well I’m biased toward the second dress because I bought that one! The first one is gorgeous too though, you can’t go wrong.

For reference... The first dress is double the cost as well lol. Which, someone else offered to cover if I decided it was the one I had to have. But I agree with the previous comment that I'm not sure it fits the venue, it is so dramatic. But... Also, I've always wanted the BIG statement dress... I will have to go try them on again lol.

I love the train of the first dress, but I personally think the detail on the back looks a little weird. Maybe it's the photo, but the two circles on the back look out of place.

The photo is poor quality lol, it's all lace, just thinner detailed there... And I'd have to go up a size than the sample, it was squeezing my back fat 😅

The second one I typically would say more matches your venue style. Both are very pretty on you. BUT I’ve seen the second one on at least 3 other women on this website alone in the last two months so I’m going to say the uniqueness of it will be overshadowed by its popularity. Where the first one has more of a timeless look to it. So I’d go with the queen dress!

I like both of them bu I personally think the top on the first one, although very pretty, has more of a boxy shape to it. The second one I think is a more flattering dress.

I love the first one with the back detail. I think strapless dresses are on their way out and more strapped/details/lace are in. Also the strapless ballgown might get heavy and fall down more.

I think they're both pretty and flattering, but the second one is a little more suited to a farm - if you want the glamour and intricacy, you can always add something like a sparkly belt or accessory to the 2nd one, but there's no going back from sparkle, damask, and a giant train. If I were your bridesmaid, I'd ask which one was more danceable - it's amazing how much a heavy formal dress can sap your strength over the course of a night
