So I was against this for a while but I gotta be honest, it helped mine and FH relationship so much already! He already feels more confident about us getting married and we are both realizing faults in ourselves that we need to work on to build our relationship. If you are on the fence about going, I HIGHLY recommend it! Plus you get money off your marriage license...

If you are in the Atlanta area we went to the marriage prep workshop at Johnson Ferry Baptist Church in Marietta. Wasn't overly religious if your not into religion either!

    We did our marriage prep class last week and really enjoyed having an entire day to discuss different aspects of our relationship. I don't think we really learned anything new or unexpected but it really affirmed for both of us that we are in a good place with our relationship and ready to get married. I recommend it also.

    FH and I have one more to attend. It was definitely worth it and our communication is much better. I would recommend it to any couple.

    We go to our first counseling session tomorrow with our pastor. I'm nervous, but really excited about it. I'm glad that many people agree it's a great thing to do before marriage!

    My FH and I attend pre-marital counseling and it's fantastic - we didn't have any major issues going into it, but there's always room to improve and learn how to be a better spouse. 10/10 recommend as well.

    We're going to be doing this, but I'm SO uncomfortable talking to someone I don't know about personal things. How did you get by that feeling?

    We are currently doing premarital counseling with our Pastor... I was a little iffy about it at the beginning. It's been few months, I think its a great idea. FH have learned some new tools to get through the hard times. It has also built a relationship with our Pastor. It also helps me to look at what need to work on.
