Its funny how through 10 months of straight planning for our wedding and all that hullabaloo we would find ourselves pregnant! My FH and I did discuss having children right away, but not this soon right away! Since so much had already been planned and so many deposits had been made we decided to still go thru with our big Day. Do you consider this tacky? I will be 5 months and 2 weeks on wedding day and was wondering if anyone else went through this? Its going to be a full day of photographs, hair & make up, long church service, & reception till midnight. So just wanted to know what my chances were of not passing out half way through it all. :-p And also if anyone has any good advice or suggestions for a mommy to be/bride.

Wow! Congratulations on the double whammy! Mom and Bride...that is great. I am hoping mine will come not too far after the wedding. I am 33 years old and was congratulating myself when we got engaged because I had made it this far without any unplanned pregnancies and we did a little thing to make sure I wouldnt be pregnant on our wedding day, and also....to make our wedding night more special. We got engaged in February.....getting married in August....went on a trip to the Dominican Republic in March....that was the last time we..uh...slept together. 3 months down 2 to go! So no chance of pregnancy before the wedding and god help us....we will be ready for the drought to end! But....to me...I think there is something really special about getting pregnant while you were planning your wedding....its almost like you are getting a double blessing from God (or what or whoever if anything) you believe in. I think its beautiful. congratulations again!

I was 3 months pregnant at my wedding. Everyone knew i was. I dont think it is tacky...now 9 months pregnant with a giant belly might be a little tacky..but at 5 months you shouldnt be that big. If i got through my day you can too! I had severe morning/all day sickness until month 5. A corset back dress is a great idea (mine was too) just to give you a little extra room. i had an empire waist that hid the tiny tiny bump. I had the bartenders make me kiddie cocktails and virgin bloody marys!! Im glad i was pregnant or else i may have gotten outta control or drank to much and been a sloppy drunk bride..THATS TACKY!
