Prayer during First Look?

I can't really think of a time when people hold hands, close their eyes and look down other than in prayer. I don't think you need to add anything.

I have to admit that I'm not even religious and I think pictures of couples praying before the wedding are really beautiful and emotional.

Hi Date Twin! We're doing a first touch similar to the pic with a prayer. But if you're doing first looks, perhaps one of the shots can be to hold hands facing each other, with your head bowed...and forehead touching each other?

We will pray together too during the first look ... it will probably end up being the two of us facing each other and holding both hands with our heads bowed and eyes closed. Anything beyond that would feel staged and that's not really what I/we would want

You could add a bible like the picture above although that seems a little staged. The heads together looks great though.

Fair point, Eleanor. And thank you, Date Twin, for sharing that photo!! I couldn't find any on Google but now that I see it, I think that will work out well. It clearly looks like they are praying. Thanks, too, for your input, Kate! I agree I don't want anything that looks "staged" since this is an important picture to us!

Maybe instead of holding hands like that, hold hands in a praying position with your heads touching. Idk how to describe it and I can't find a picture
