Postponing

Hi Brides,

I need some guidance. I had to postpone my date to September due to the Coronavirus. I had my cake cutting accessories engraved with our original wedding date and I also had our guestbook with that date too. Would you use them anyways or replace them?

If it was in the budget, I would rather have keepsakes with my actual wedding date.

We're still planning to sign our papers on our wedding date. I plan on using our cake topper as well as our souvineer cups with our original date. I think it makes for a better story.

I would still use it anyway as the date is still part of your story

Due to all the craziness, we actually got married before our wedding date of 3/21. So officially we are 3/18. But we intend to do a 1 year vow renewal on March 20,2021. Everybdate is wrong for Eve

We changed from April to July and have a lot of things with our April date on it! We are totally using them all. just think you are lucky enough to have two wedding dates. It will make for a good story of planning a wedding during an epidemic!

I'm sorry Frances. How is the engraving applied? Is it something where a plate with the new date could be added over the old date? Then you could keep your original set and also have the correct date. I'd take them to an engraver and see if adding something would be possible.

Where does the guestbook have the date? Could it also be covered?
