Postponing but eloping. Should we announce elopement?

We we're supposed to get married March 27th, we had already gotten our marriage license (only have 30 days to use it) so we've decided we're doing an elopement style ceremony tomorrow with just us the officiant and my father so we don't lose license. We will be having another ceremony and a reception when all of the covid19 stuff is over, and we're saving our personal vows until then. Should we announce that we eloped, wait until we send new invitations, or not say anything.
