My April 25th wedding is now going to be October 10th😔 I’m still pretty depressed about it, but I know that this is a good thing for whatever reason. Anyone have any thought on giving your spring wedding a fall flair ?

I’m glad to hear you got a new date. I think it’s ok for you to keep your ideas as is. I don’t think it needs to correspond to the season it’s in

Hey date twin! Can’t wait for our date! You can definitely lean into the fall vibe with decor, food, and color palette but it’s by no means necessary. Just plan the wedding of your dreams!

Which date is yours lol? I had chose mauve as the main color theme, and the bridesmaids dresses are that color. I guess I could add like a dark wine red to add a fall flare

We had to move our March 28th wedding to October 17th. We are keeping everything the same. My colors are malibu blue and black. I know that malibu blue is not a fall color but everyone already has everything and I refuse to ask my girls to buy another dress. If people don't like it I'm more than happy to show them the door!

October 10th. You can but you shouldn’t feel obligated.

Hi., I too had destination wedding in Cabo for April 25 and my new Date is October 24. I always dreamed of a spring wedding 😩

I made the decision on Friday and yes it was hard. But the minute I started sending messages and a few phone calls to my guest they were so supportive and encouraging I was able to breath again! And was able to unglued myself from the News!
I’m sure fall will be a beautiful time for a wedding 👰🏻 🎩

Thank you! That's very sweet of you to say. I just don't see why any of us that had to move our wedding dates should feel obligated to change anything. We got shafted and if our guests can't see that then they can kiss it. Sorry, I'm horrible, I know.

Everyone was so encouraging to me too, they know how important this was to me. We’ve been dating 6 years and it’s been long distance the whole time, so it felt like I was gonna have this amazing party to celebrate the fact that I never have to drive 4.5 hours to see Tom again. But now I may not even get to go to church the next day and say goodbye to all my friends before I move.

But fall will be a great occasion for a wedding, the temperature in April and October are similar in Arkansas. It’s indoors, but maybe since the bugs will be dying off I might have some of it outdoors

I know my guest will love whatever I do bc they love me and Tom. But I personally didn’t want it to feel out of place.

We have EVERYTHING we needed for the wedding so changing anything just doesn't make sense right now.
