What are your thoughts on posting a link to your wedding website on Facebook? I have mixed feelings about this for (hopefully!) obvious reasons. However, I recently saw a friend-of-a-friend post about their's, mainly to show off pictures and their story, as well as to try to get some RSVP-stragglers. I was mainly wanting to post about it to get people excited (maybe?), share the website with those that did not notice the "plug" for the website on our STD, and to maybe get some people to remember to RSVP, either through the website or directly to me.

I'm interested in your opinions and will decide what to do after I hear your great input! Thanks in advance Smiley smile

I wouldn't. I get irritated when people post things about upcoming weddings in Facebook. It's rude to hype up an event that not everyone is invited to.

I'm in the minority but I don't see anything wrong with it. We're in a technology age where these things are acceptable (imo) but unfortunately we're also in a time where everyone is too easily offended. I had a friend on FB post info about her wedding and I didn't care. Weddings are exciting and I feel happiness for people who are going through that process, whether I was invited or not. I say go for it. If someone is close enough to you that you have them as your friend on FB, they should be happy for you and not mope because they weren't invited. A mature person can understand that the guest list has to end somewhere. I hope you decided on sharing your happiness on FB and not conform to these dumb "rules".
