Tomorrow my wedding will be exactly a year away. I sent out my STD a few days ago and everyone has been confirming they've received it. Tomorrow my wedding will be exactly a year away. I sent out my STD a few days ago and everyone has been confirming they've received it. I want to post my STD on my social media with a sentimental post, debuting our wedding hashtag and counting down. I'm worried about people asking why they didn't get a STD. Did anyone post theirs? Should I be concerned that'll be too much pressure? Thanks !

I dont think that's a good idea....mayne wait until after the wedding. I've avoided all wedding talk on Facebook just because every time its brought up someone that isnt invited has to comment taking where their invite is.

I wouldn’t post a “save the date” on social media. I think that’s a little tacky imo, similar posting an invite on social media when you aren’t inviting all your followers. You’ll probably get a lot of backlash.

What I’d say to do if you want to announce your date and hashtag and get excited about it on social media, is just post a photo and caption it with your wedding hashtag, wedding date, wedding countdown, etc. It’s all the same information that you’re sharing, but it’s a less tacky way of just sharing your date without like, basically notifying all your followers that “this save the date card was sent out and you didn’t get one”

I wouldn't post it on social media unless you are inviting every single one of your social media friends.
