Poster seating chart

Shannon449, on August 4, 2016 at 8:12 PM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 22

I want to do a poster seating chart instead of place cards. Does anyone know a place to find a template and then print it? I don't know anything about printing posters and whatnot. Thanks!

Can you show an example of what you are envisioning?

Etsy.com! and your local printer shop or the UPSstore can print for about $10. Then you can stick it in a picture frame.

I designed my own seating chart and had it printed at office depot on foam board. It was simple and easy. I'd suggest looking at Etsy for inspiration.

I did my sisters this past May...set it up and then had it printed at Vista on sale. I think it was $12 to print it. Then mounted it on adhesive foam board, and into our moms antique frame it went. Looked lovely!

There are lots of templates on etsy, you'll pay around $20 probably. You can have an engineer print done at staples for around $10.

There are cheap ones on Zazzle too. I highly recommend waiting until the last minute possible to print your seating chart. We had last minute changes (additions and cancellations) that kept changing our arrangement. We printed it the week before and still had cancellations, but didn't change the seating chart. Instead there was a huge gap at the table where my grown cousins were supposed to be sitting (but they were too rude to call and tell me they weren't going to make it).

I am doing the same thing and started calling around yesterday for prices. Did you get it printed on foam board? What size were they?

Definitely Etsy, buy the digital version and then have it printed on Vistaprint as a poster and then frame it.

We had about 140 guests. We did a template from etsy seller was PrintMyWedding and she put everything together for us super quickly and then I had it printed via Vistaprint. Highly recommend the etsy seller not so much Vistaprint. When our poster showed up it was wrinkled getting them to overnight a new one was a nightmare the week of the wedidng.

I'm having about 150-175 people attending and I definitely think poser works much better... but that's my personal preference @jenna

I did one and we found it on Etsy from CreativeUnionDesign. They sent me the PDF and then I printed it through Vista Print.

Oops sorry, I was thinking poster program instead of names. You can probably get those on Etsy and print through Vistaprint as well though.
