Post your diy Invitations!!

Kristen, on October 9, 2019 at 3:25 PM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 8
I've been toying with the idea of making my own wedding invitations. I made my bridesmaid proposal cards by downloading fonts and using Microsoft publisher. It was super easy and I think they look great. Would love to see people's DIY invitations for inspiration and tips!!

Not technically DIY - but they were on budget from Vistaprint.

Still playing with color options, but this is what we are doing! Cut with a Cricut machine and bought a template on Etsy.Post your diy Invitations!! 2

I downloaded a free template and changed the colors, fonts and obviously the text. I also added some little details. I perferated down the dotted black line so the guests can rip off their RSVP cards to send off to me.

We are having a vintage aviation/travel theme, so I thought it was only fitting to create "boarding passes". Our venue is at an aviation museum, where our reception will be in an airplane hangar and the ceremony will be out on the tarmac with a Blue Angels F-18 as our "arbor"!! I had them printed at work at our print shop, it cost me $21 for 150 invitations!!

These look great! I checked Vistaprint after seeing yours and others post about their pricing. Looks like it could be a good option.

I highly recommend them. I used them for our save the dates, invitations, and my shower invitations with no problems.
