Our cake is actually going to be a surprise. My dad is a baker so he’s making our cake. I told him I want at least one real sunflower on it but other than that I trust him. (He did wedding cakes for a while back in the day)

I love how colorful your cake is. This is the cake design I would love to have. My wedding is in May.

Let's just say I'm a lil extra and hopeful I can find someone to make this cake for what I'm hoping won't cost me outrageous prices but this is my inspiration. Its the only cake I've came across that has made me say I love that!

Here is my cake. It will be exactly like this, my florist or providing the flowers to my baker. I’m excited to see it, and mostly to eat it. She allowed is to choose multiple flavors.

We’re eloping in the desert, hence the cactus theme

So, I created a Pinterest board with all the cakes that I liked.. and my now-husband hated literally all of them. Funnily enough, he wanted a 4-tier cake covered with buttercream flowers, and I wanted something very plain.

We ended up compromising, planning to do 2 tiers of flowers, and 2 plain tiers. But then when we downsized, our cake became half the size.
