How many of you did a brunch on the morning after your wedding? If so, what time did you start the brunch at? Also, did you put it on the invitations or use an insert card to let your guests know it was happening?

Thanks!

I think we're going to do one. Because half our guests will have flown in from out of state and we haven't seen them in a little bit.

I was thinking around 11 a.m. Late enough so everyone gets some sleep!

Although I still have plenty of time to plan.

I've scheduled a brunch the day after and the guest are invited to join us at their expense. If it's just the two of us then I'm good with that as well since it'll be the two of us for the rest of our lives. Hmmm

We had brunch with our officiant/friend and his gf. They stayed at the same hotel as us and we treated them to brunch the next day (which was Christmas Eve).

We have a brunch for up to 30 people included in our wedding packages, but we haven't figured out the logistics yet. I think I'm going to wait to see how the hotel block is looking before I start inviting.

I never thought about this, I'll have to check with my family and see if this is something we want to consider.

Not sure if we'll do one...I just asked FH and he said (albeit while playing a computer game when he's not really thinking about it)- "No....we're going to run away after the wedding...to fair France...." He's such a weirdo sometimes lol. I feel like I'd be too tired too and want to sleep in with FH and just chill. We planned on taking a flight to our honeymoon the next day so probably not. If we did we'd do it probably by 10ish for the oldish guests...our grandmas are both early birds...but that would suck for us not to get to sleep in.

Thanks @Celia I was wondering who's suppose to pay for it. If we have one we'd definitely be paying for it and not offend our guests.

Ours started at 10 a.m. but many showed up around 11. We waited until RSVPs were in and then sent an online invite to everyone coming. We also did a welcome dinner the evening before the wedding and handled it the same way. Everyone who RSVP'd yes got an invite to both events.

We are doing one. Ours starts at 9:30. I think I'm going to create an invitation just so I have a rough idea of how many chairs we are going to need.

I'm doing a brunch the day after. We will have brunch at 11:30 am and we have 10 guests. Because our guest list was small, I sent evites. Yeah, its tacky, but it worked for my small group. Plus we weren't going to do one, but changed our minds last week. Our wedding is next week, so evites worked.

We got a hotel block at a hotel that does free continental breakfasts, so the morning after we're planning on meeting all the out of town family downstairs for breakfast. We have almost the entire hotel reserved anyways! Smiley smile keeps the whole brunch thing super simple

I'm doing a brunch after the wedding for guests staying at the hotel. I'm including this information in their welcome bags.

I'm meeting my two OOT besties with their DH's and my new H the day after the wedding, near the airport for lunch. They'll all be catching flights home that afternoon, so we just decided to meet up and spend a little bit of extra time together since it could possibly be a year or two until we are together again. It was their idea, and I hadn't even considered who pays, etc. I wasn't thinking of it as a wedding event at all. Maybe we'll just plan on picking up the tab.

We did a brunch that Sunday and started at 11am. It allowed everyone time to sleep in after partying Saturday night. We had brunch and everyone hopped on the road to their destination. We sent out personal invites for brunch since it was only for family who came from out of state.

We are planning to just have a "continental breakfast." We rented the conference room in our hotel, and will be providing juice & water, and then breakfast pastries. It will be from 8AM-12PM just so no one feels like they have to get up early. The thought it people will grab pastries on their way out, or hang around and chat if they choose.

We listed this on the itinerary I am putting inside the hotel welcome bags.
