We need some happy thoughts right now as we are all clearly stressed to the max.... especially for those whose weddings are coming up soon..



So let's start a positive thread. What are you most looking forward to on your wedding day besides obviously getting married?
There is so much for me. I'm looking forward to having a couple days off of work, spending time with my MOH who is coming from Georgia, the fellowship with everyone, the first dance with my husband, and overall just the entire day in general. We've been planning this day since June 2019 and have been together 4 years. I'm so looking forward to finally becoming his wife.

    Two weeks off of work!? Lol but really. I am most excited to spend time with my family and friends all in the same place at the same time! Has never happened and probably never will again Smiley smile

    For me, outside of the wedding day aspect, its probably going to be the day before I leave getting a facial, nails done, and just getting glammed up and feeling refreshed!

    The mani/pedi with my soon the be bonus daughter April and! We are leaving for Gatlinburg April 3rd and getting married April 4th. I'm also looking forward to spending the time with my new husband in the cabin we rented. From the photos if has amazing view of the mountains and a hot tub.

    Oh my gosh I love Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. I use to vacation there all the time. We went in March 2019 for my Spring Break. I am a teacher. It is definitely a very romantic place!

    I’m looking forward to seeing FH’s reaction when I walk down the aisle and going on our mini moon right after the wedding. Also looking forward to seeing how everything comes together and our wedding vision becoming reality Smiley smile

    It is!!! It was our first vacation together, he has been married before and didn't want to do the whole big wedding. I never was interested in a huge wedding. After talking it over we decided to do a modified elopement with our parents in Gatlinburg. Something we will always remember! I guess now it's going to be extremely unforgettable now. 🤣😍

    I'm looking forward to that too and I really hope he doesn't cry because I know I will probably cry too lol. He has been so emotional through all of this though that I know he is going to cry. He almost cried yesterday when we got our marriage license lol. Just got to sport that waterproof mascara 😂.
    I'm looking forward to it all coming together too and seeing all of the hard work and planning finally pay off.

    Love this! Looking forward to seeing close friends and family. We relocated 2 years ago and hardly get to see anyone. This is a destination wedding so 3 days spent with everyone before the big day. Also looking forward to the special moments- the laughs, seeing my dress with everything all put together and definitely our first look and first introduction as husband and wife! 🥰

    I am most looking forward to the vows and taking photos with everyone! I picked up my dress today. I have been struggling lately with my body image and wanted to get a shawl of some type for my arms for at least a few photos, found one on amazon and i think it looks great together! This is a pic of the shawl with my dress (it’s bustled so it looks weird)

    Those three days before the wedding will be fun!! Yes, I'm looking forward to seeing my dress come together. They still had to fix the cap sleeves on it last time. I go for final fitting and pick it up April 9th!

    Loving this post!! I need some good things to think about. For me, its FINALLY moving in with my fh. We are waiting for marriage, so to finally be with him is what's making me so excited. Just to know we are getting married and starting our life I can't wait to wear my dress and feel so pretty on that day. But this post made me smile. Thank you.
