Portland Reception Dinner

Hey! I’m doing my wedding and restaurant reception in Portland. Where have you already looked? There are a number of fantastic restaurants that do private dining. We had some difficulty initially because we were inviting about 45-50 people and didn’t want to book a venue that couldn’t accommodate our max. I would google Portland private dining to see a number of options. Most places do a food and bev minimum of $**** and charge a separate gratuity, but that typically includes the space and all of the service. These may be pushing up against your budget but are all places that we looked at: Nedd Ludd (the coordinator there was amazing but they can only accommodate 42), Clarklewis, Bluehour*, Olympia Provisions*, Andina*, 23Hoyt*, Coopers Hall, Xico, and the Nightwood society. The asterisked ones are all in NW Portland and would be close-ish to Hoyt Arboretum. We settled on having ours at Bluehour, since we assumed that downtown would be most convenient for our guests at the end of the night, but now that RSVPs are coming in we’re looking at 30 people and they are staying all over the city... good luck!!

I was also going to suggest a restaurant wedding reception! Are there any restaurants that spring to mind for you that have a private dining area?
