Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for a not so emo pop/punk song for our first dance. We met at warped tour in 2008 and are going back to that park to get married so to keep with the nostalgia theme, I thought our first dance should be one from our "youth" lol. FI's sister recently got married and her song was "Smother Me" by the used (so perfect!) I can't find anything that's at that level. "Miserable at Best" by Mayday parade was one of our faves but it's depressing. Anyone have any ideas??

You could use an instrumental version of a song and keep the lyrics out. My friend walked up the aisle to Taking Back Sunday's "Make Damn Sure" instrumental version because it's her favorite song and it was beautiful. She just found it on YouTube. That could be an option!

Alkaline trio - clavicle or we can never break up. There's an acoustic version of clavicle on damnesia which is a little softer for a first dance.
