Pop/punk first dance?

Hello brides!


I need some help choosing a first dance song. We’ve got a few that we really like, but my fiancé is big fan of the pop/punk genre of music so I’m really trying to find something that connects with that but I’m having such a hard time!! Most of the “love” songs from that genre are still very sad and kind of angsty or way too fast paced for a first dance. I found one that I love everything about called “Don’t walk away” by Mike Herrera: I love the guitar and his voice and most of the words are lovely but the chorus has that “don’t leave me” vibe which doesn’t seem to mesh well with a first dance song! If anyone has suggestions of songs similar to this one or opinions on this one, I’d appreciate!
