Poor communication from mua

I am getting a little bit nervous about the MUA I have booked for my wedding day. I booked her a while back and she reached out to me about a month ago asking me about doing a trial. We set a date, and then two days before the appointment I reached out because her site did not have an address. I asked her about the location and she did not respond until the NIGHT BEFORE the trial, canceling on me with an odd/lame excuse. It seemed to me like she totally forgot about the appointment. She told me she would get ahold of me when she had her first opening saying i would be the first client she'd take. Fast forward a couple of weeks and she has been plastering all over her social media stating how she has a bunch of openings. This is extremely off-putting to me. She was very responsive when it came to booking the date and when i was in the process of signing the contract and paying. She required a 50% payment of the services. I have a large wedding party so I gave her quite a significant amount of money. I really don't want to have her do my makeup at this point. She has good reviews and her work is very good but communication and being valued as a client is important in my opinion. Ive had people telling me to reach out about seeing how she has openings but i shouldnt have to beg someone to do my makeup. And with her having all of this time to post youd think she would have time to remember my trial. I feel like its going to be awkward now because I think shes rude. My wedding is coming up and i dont want to be stressed about her not showing up or something. I reached out to a ton of mua before booking her and everyone was so booked already. What do i do???

I would reach out and make sure that I didn't miss an email or text from her. Sometimes communication goes awry and it is in your best interest (and that of your investment) to reach out at least once more about getting your trial set up.
