Hi!! I picked up my dress from alterations yesterday and suddenly it had a stripe down the bust (& two thinner ones). The seamstress had no idea what could have happened. I took it out of the bag today and now there’s even more. Any idea what it could be/how to fix? Polyester Dress suddenly getting stripes 1

Does the material change its weave-appearance or just the color?
It almost looks like it was stretched or strained.

Could it be from an object or press that was too hot? Obviously it wasn't there before. Something they did caused those marks on the dress. I would think they owe you compensation.
