Poll: Choose your top three cake flavors please!

From the list- chocolate, strawberry, lemon. Carrot cakes are very popular as well. If you are concerned about other people's tastes, I might suggest a basic vanilla for one of the tiers as well, but that's just MHO.

@Margaret and for others who mentioned vanilla cake, thank you for your honest opinions. Honestly that was and is still a concern I have. Even though I didn't mentioned it in my original post, my other objective of this poll was to see if vanilla cake lovers will find an appropriate alternative on this list.

Lemon and chocolate sound good, I probably wouldn't want anything else on this list.

We chose chocolate, vanilla (with a strawberry filling), and carrot cake.

I am a cake lover and would enjoy any of the 3 flavors I listed in my previous comment. If having vanilla is a concern, maybe the smallest tier you are serving can be vanilla.

Chocolate - not a fan of any of the other flavors.

I dislike strawberry and banana flavored anything. Banana makes me gag.

Carrot just isn't wedding to me.

Lemon might be OK, but a lot of people I know dislike lemon (same with strawberry and banana cakes).

We are probably having a tier each of carrot, red velvet, and chocolate. I love vanilla cake, but I can do chocolate in small amounts.

From the list, I would choose carrot, chocolate, and lemon. Actually, it's a toss up between lemon and strawberry for me.

I'd choose chocolate or lemon personally. Probably wouldn't choose one of the others.

Yummmmm....... Chocolate, strawberry, carrot. But lets be honest, you can't go wrong with any of those 5 flavors!

Well, since I hate bananas and don't care for chocolate cake, by default I'd go for lemon, carrot, then strawberry.

We haven't officially picked our flavors, but we're probably going to have vannila/almond and lemon.

I would steer clear of the nuts. You never know who could be effected. The safest picks are chocolate and vanilla. But since vanilla isn't an option, I've been to many weddings with lemon cake and it's really light.

My vote:

Lemon, Chocolate, Lemon again... (I'm not a fan of carrot or strawberry. But a lot of people like strawberry.)
