Polka Song???

Sorry I don't know any names...you maybe could try youtube and look up "wedding polka" or something? I have seen them done before, though, and it's tons of fun...I hope you find a good one!!

We will be playing at least one Polka at our wedding, too - family traditions, and they are fun! There are not too many of my family members still living that can dance a polka, but it brings back a lot of fun memories. I'm old enough to remember when people had polka bands for wedding receptions and all that was played were polkas, waltzes and a few novelty songs like the Hokey Pokey--this is pre-chicken dance! The best polka band is Frankie Yankovic, IMO. You don't want the Too Fat Polka--it talks about a woman who is "too fat for me", very embarrassing for any guest who is overweight. I live in Pennsylvania so naturally I'm partial to the Pennsylvania Polka. You also don't want the Just Because polka--part of the lyrics are "I'm telling you honey, I'm through with you, because, just because." The Beer Barrel Polka and In Heaven There Is No Beer are fun "party" polkas. And Frankie Yankovic has done all of them. (I have all my late father's polka albums and we are having a few at our wedding, too--I'm Hungarian!)
